Is the Confidence Fix program a "work at your own pace" or is this a timed program, lasting only so long?
This is a 'work at your own pace' program. When you join you get instant access to all the lessons & training resources and 4 years access to watch everything.
When I start the Confidence Fix™ program, how many days will it take for me to see my horse start to grow in confidence?
While every horse & situation is different. But you should start to see your horse become more confident & relaxed in as little as 2-3 groundwork sessions.
How long does each session with my horse need to be?
We believe in quality, not quantity. And luckily, so do our horses! We would recommend two groundwork sessions with your horse each week. Plus with our thoughtfully designed ‘small chunk’ exercises & strategies, you’ll be able to have fun and completely avoid overwhelming your horse!
It's winter where I live and it's freezing. Can I start this course now or should I wait?
We get snow here in Ireland in the winter, so I totally understand! For me, I like to use the bad weather in the winter to concentrate more on groundwork & confidence building with my horses. That way I can keep working with my horses, even during the winter. And I don't feel bad we've done nothing in months due to hard ground or snow. All of these lessons in the Fix are designed to be fairly short. Think 10-15 minute sessions, 

And they can really help your horse. For me, these exercises are a way to keep in stay connected to my horse over the winter. Then once the spring arrives, as I've built up a ton of confidence over the winter, we can get back to a lot more riding & fun activities in the fine weather.  You also get 4 years access to this program, so once you purchase it you can work through it as slowly or quickly as suits you.    
What is the difference between the Confidence Fix™ & the 100 Miles a Month™ challenge?
So these are totally different programs - and I highly recommend both of them! The 100 miles is all about starting where you feel safe leading your horse in hand, and gradually going out & about, building confidence in new places with your horse. So it's about the miles :) The Confidence Fix you can do in an arena or paddock. It's about getting your horse used to a lot of different scary situations & building their confidence. Walking 100 miles is not required.   
What is the difference between the Confidence Fix™ and the Listening to the Horse Method™?
The Confidence Fix™ is all groundwork and it only focuses on confidence building tasks in hand. The Method is both groundwork and riding, and is much less focused on confidence. If confidence is the biggest issue you have I’d choose the Confidence Fix™. If confidence isn't a major issue that’s holding you back, I’d go for the Listening to the Horse Method™.
I’ve tried other desensitising programs in the past and they haven’t worked. How will the Confidence Fix™ be different?

How old does my horse & I need to be for the Confidence Fix™?
At Listening to the Horse, we understand that the earliest a horse’s body will be physically mature is at 5.5 years of age. As this course can all be done on the ground, all horses have to be 4 years of age or over. We are very mindful not to do too much work with young horses who are not yet fully developed. You must be over 18 years of age to purchase or use any of our products, courses or any items or online training solutions.
My horse sometimes demonstrates behaviour that is a major safety concern - such as rearing, biting, bucking, bolting, etc. It this course suitable for me? 
No, this course does not address or fix major behavioural problems. We would advise you to contact your vet as a lot of these types of issues begin with pain the horse has.
